A truly authentic way to experience and understand the importance and history of the Turf use heritage in Ireland and why it is so close to our hearts. Hard work of our ancestors, closely linked to today's world and the dwindling of it's use in Irish homes.

- Cottage Set comes complete with Reclaimed Slate burner with pads to protect surfaces and 5x Turf / Peat Incense pieces. This cottage is made to sit atop of any of our slate burners or other heat-proof surface.

This truly unique item has been made from scratch in-house using the latest 3D scanning, printing and casting techniques. A true replica of a small cottage in Rathkeale, County Limerick, this cottage sits over your smouldering incense allowing a gentle whisp of smoke to pour through the chimney, transporting you right back to old Irish times.

The cottage itself is made from Jesmonite, a very durable and eco-friendly stone resin. A heat-resistant and very tough material with a smooth finish, finished with a hand-painted thatched roof and red barn door. This style of cottage was the most common found throughout Ireland with many still around today.

- Irish Wooden Turf Cart
Using the latest 3D Printing technology to recreate an authentic wooden cart, used to carry Turf from the bogs to homes, usually pulled by donkey. We have recreated this in miniature in brown and black PLA to give that authentic feel of the hard work and history behind every turf sod cut by hand and hauled for miles.

- Irish Turf Sleán Spade 
(Pronounced Slawn)
This truly unique spade was made for the sole purpose of cutting turf from the bogs into nice even rectangular blocks, easy to stack and carry. The spade came in many styles, but unique with the angular blade and long slender blade, it made easy work of cutting solid turf blocks from the ground.

- Irish Turf Fireside Soy Candle
For cosy evenings and a soft glow, this candle closely resembles those nights in Granny's cottage when the wind was howling and everyone warmed themselves by the fire. The smell of Turf and cooking filled the house. Relive this without the mess and fuss.

Produced entirely on our farmland in Silverbridge in the Heart of South Armagh, you can recreate the smell of rural Ireland in your own home without even owning a fireplace!
With our Incense turf sods placed on the Slate burner and ignited, you will soon be transported back to the old Irish cottages, where warmth and cooking of food were provided by the open fire and sods of turf burning within.
This incense has been specially designed to be easy to ignite with a lasting smoulder that will fill the room with the distinctive smell of an open turf fire.
Each turf sod should burn for approx. 35-45 minutes.

Slates are hand cut and vary slightly in size from 8cm - 10cm in length, or roughly the size of a credit card, each sod varies from 3cm - 5cm. They are natural products and will vary in size, shape and performance when burned.
