Each pack includes 12x solid sods made to burn easily and slowly to fill your home with the original smell of an Irish cottage. (Over 35+Hrs Burn Time!)
Produced on our farmhouse in Silverbridge in the Heart of South Armagh, you can recreate the smell of rural Ireland in your own home without even owning a fireplace!
With our Incense turf sods placed on the Bangor Blue Slate burner and ignited, you will soon be transported back to the old Irish cottages, where warmth and cooking of food were provided by the open fire and sods of turf burning within.
This incense has been specially designed to be easy to ignite with a lasting smoulder that will fill the room with the distinctive smell of an open turf fire.
Each turf sod should burn for approx. 35-45 minutes.

These turf incense are just wonderful and fill my home with the aroma of an open fire. To see the smoking chimney coming from the little cottage is an absolute delight.
When I hiked the Cape Wrath trail and West Highland Way I often stayed in a bothy at the end of the day. A bothy is a small stone cottage that crofters lived in, now open to travelers. Often there was a smell of peat from centuries of keeping warm. I always enjoyed the rests I had in a bothy after a long day climbing the hills and traversing the bogs. With great pleasure, I have awoken those wonderful memories again in my own place. The only problem I have, is going through them too quickly! I'm finishing my second bag and I've only just received them a couple weeks ago! I can't visit Scotland again anytime soon, but these will hold me until I can. Thank you!!
