Experience the Warmth of the Irish Turf Candle
Flick the match, touch the wick, sit back, close your eyes and remember how it was in Granny's home. Cosy in front of the Turf fire with the wind howling outside. Thick stone walls and old wooden doors protecting you from the elements while Granny told you about the old days, or if she felt inclined, whipped up an apple tart and tea in the kitchen.
We can't promise a perfect childhood (as much as we would like to!) but we can ensure you get the spark to reignite those fond memories, whatever they may be!
Whilst recreating the true, distinctive smell of an old Irish Turf Fire in candle form is almost impossible, this scent captures the essence of what it felt like to sit in front of one and all the smells that surrounded you. If you'd like to experience what an Irish Turf Fire was really like, please try our Turf Incense for an authentic and accurate recreation!
Crisp top notes of citrus, lavender and cypress cut through the deep and sweet musky base notes of vetiver, wood smoke and tonka.
This 120g low profile tin will give a hearty glow and scent throw (even when unlit!) enough to fill any room for up to 20 hours.
...Time and memories are precious, make more!
