- Cottage Set comes complete with Reclaimed Slate burner with pads to protect surfaces and 5x Turf / Peat Incense pieces. This cottage is made to sit atop of any of our slate burners or other heat-proof surface.

This truly unique item has been made from scratch in-house using the latest 3D scanning, printing and casting techniques. A true replica of a small cottage in Rathkeale, County Limerick, this cottage sits over your smouldering incense allowing a gentle whisp of smoke to pour through the chimney, transporting you right back to old Irish times.

The cottage itself is made from Jesmonite, a very durable and eco-friendly stone resin. A heat-resistant and very tough material with a smooth finish, finished with a hand-painted thatched roof and red barn door. This style of cottage was the most common found throughout Ireland with many still around today.

Includes 5x solid sods made to burn easily and slowly to fill your home with the original smell of an Irish cottage.
These incense sods are made to be exact miniature replicas of a real Turf sod, sadly selling Turf in Ireland to use as a fuel has been banned and this once distinct aroma smelled throughout the country will diminish over time.

What's a Creel?

"A creel is a square or rectangular type basket made from sally rods or wicker grown locally for the purpose of carrying heavy loads of turf, seaweed or potatoes on a donkey's back. In olden times the creel was carried across the shoulders on a man's or woman's back."

Includes 28x solid sods made to burn easily and slowly to fill your home with the original smell of an Irish cottage. Each Creel basket has been filled, tied and sealed in foil to keep them free from moisture.

The Unique Creel Basket is made of 3D printed brown matt PLA. It's a solid construction and great for storing your turf incense for when needed.

Produced entirely on our farmland in Silverbridge in the Heart of South Armagh, you can recreate the smell of rural Ireland in your own home without even owning a fireplace!
With our Incense turf sods placed on the Slate burner and ignited, you will soon be transported back to the old Irish cottages, where warmth and cooking of food were provided by the open fire and sods of turf burning within.
This incense has been specially designed to be easy to ignite with a lasting smoulder that will fill the room with the distinctive smell of an open turf fire.
Each turf sod should burn for approx. 35-45 minutes.

Slates are hand cut and vary slightly in size from 8cm - 10cm in length, or roughly the size of a credit card, each sod varies from 3cm - 5cm. They are natural products and will vary in size, shape and performance when burned.
