While not referencing Ireland (sorry) specifically in this review, I was looking to recreate the smells I experienced while touring the peat kilns at a whisky distillery on Islay in Scotland this past fall. They use peat fires to cold smoke the barley used in whisky making and the scent in those kilns is heavenly. This peat incense is remarkably similar to that and I am loving it! A helpful hint: I use a small butane torch lighter that I use to light cigars to light these sticks. Works perfect every time getting them easily lit!

If you close your eyes it really feels like you are home perfect for the months to come.

There’s something so comforting about the smell of a peat fire but it’s hard to find somewhere that sells the peat briquettes now, so coming across this incense was the next best thing! It’s a lovely gift and once we’ve finished this pack we’ll be ordering some more!

Smells just like a turf fire- reminds me of a walk in the park on a crisp autumn day when people have started lighting their fires for the start of the colder weather- perfect! Love it and have already purchased the refill pack days after the starter kit. Highly recommend and already have! :-D

So pleased the ad showed up on my FB feed! A delightful gift that I had to get for myself! Takes me back to happy childhood memories. I no longer burn turf as the muddy ash kept staining my rug and carpet, so when I saw this, I didn't hesitate.
The cutest wee cottage with its own smoking chimney and a basket to keep the turf stacked is a lovely additional piece.
Had an issue which was quicky resolved. Customer care, service, satisfaction is second to none! Cannot rate these products and company enough!! Love it!
