The service and communication has been excellent. Item came well packed with clear instructions. The smell is perfect and reminds me of sitting in the kitchen back home in Mayo. You won’t be disappointed.
This is absolutely fantastic, the founder of this idea must be so proud. On writing this I have my little cottage burning the turf and it reminds me so much of home.
Mammy would have the range going with soda bread in the oven and the tea cooking what a fantastic smell.
I absolutely love it. Thank you for the memories.
Thanks you so much! Those are truly precious memories indeed!! Delighted we could help rekindle some of that! :)
Takes me back home to Bangor. Miss this smell so much.
Absolutely delighted with it, so nostalgic. I will definitely be ordering more turf!
This item is beautiful, it takes me straight back to the turf fires 🔥
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT REMINDS ME OF STAYING WITH MY NANNA AND MY JOB WAS KEEPING THE FIRE BANKED UP WITH THE PEAT BLOCKS.
Amazing Product! Great service!
The third one i've bought because I love them and you're lovely people. x
Absolutely stunning
This item is unbelievable its taken me back to child hood holidays to Ireland i will be ordering more
Only gave a 3 because i didnt like the smell but the house is 5* really cute and i use my incense cones.
I bought a small pack of the peat incense from curiosity, because my mum used to have an open fire, and often burnt peat blocks. This was decades ago, when you could get them in Sussex! I loved going to see her, and the scent brought back such lovely memories. I couldn't resist getting the cottage burner, and seeing the smoke curling from the chimney just filled me with delight. Sometimes the small, simple pleasures really are the best.
Cute little cottage and the scent from the turf/ peat is perfect. A reminder of a great holiday in Ireland
A beautiful handmade cottage to house the authentic turf. Beautiful evocative smells fill the room when it is lit. A great addition to any home or as a gift to someone living abroad.
My daughter inlaw gifted me the turf cottage for Christmas. Best gift ever! I grew up in N. Ireland and have great memories of sitting around turf fires. Brilliant product!
Bought this for myself in December & absolutely love it. I no longer have a coal fire & this brings me right back to my childhood. It gives me such comfort! I've just made my 2nd purchase as i've run out!
I grew up in a big city, but spent every single childhood holiday in the West with my family. Turf fires to cook with on the range, turf fires every evening. Walks in the countryside, visiting friends and family, all of my most precious memories are now with me in another country which I call my home now. Can’t rate highly enough for sentimental value of times, people and places, long since passed.
The cottage is great. Works perfectly. I was surprised a bit at the size. A bit smaller than I thought it would be but it ended up perfect! It was a gift for my father who was raised near where the cottages were made!
Brilliant Mike, thanks! Great things in small packages etc! :) Brilliant to hear it has a new local home too!
Sent my 2 brothers in law a Irish cottage each, they were delighted with the product and brought back some happy memories. Found the whole ordering process great and delivered promptly, Highly recommend this lovely gift
Thank you so much Mary! We truly appreciate that! Glad to hear your brother in laws enjoyed them too! 😊
Bought as a present for Christmas , so no idea what it smells like yet , can’t wait.
Quick delivery , well packaged.
Got this for my wife's birthday, she loved it.
Love this. Reminds me of happy times on my grannys farm in Wicklow.
Looks amazing, Xmas gifts to take to New York
Fantastic smell and model cottage
Bought to remind Irish clients of the old country, they loved it , it's like a trip down memory lane ☘️
Recordei as minhas excelentes estadias no país maravilhoso que se chama Irlanda
Love the look of it and the smell but the turf sods do not stay alight once you put the house over it. I tried it several ways.
Love it reminds me of when i go over to Donegal ☘️
Really pleased. Highly recommend.
Happy with my purchase. Love the smell. Stronger than I thought it might be which is great. The only problem I have is that the turf log is inclined to go out before it's finished smouldering. Maybe I'm doing something wrong 🤔.
Was reccomended by a friend, a great purchase what reminds me of home. Arrived sooner then expected, a well organised family business. 10/10 all round.
Bought as a gift and it’s the cutest thing ever unfortunately it looks like whoever packaged it forced it into the outer box it was being delivered ripping the inner box front and back. Still an amazing product and well packaged inside the inner box!
Hi Abi, really sorry about the box damage! We are actually currently waiting on slightly larger boxes to be delivered to accommodate these as we were aware they were a little tight, hope it didn't spoil your experience nonetheless! Thanks :)
