When I hiked the Cape Wrath trail and West Highland Way I often stayed in a bothy at the end of the day. A bothy is a small stone cottage that crofters lived in, now open to travelers. Often there was a smell of peat from centuries of keeping warm. I always enjoyed the rests I had in a bothy after a long day climbing the hills and traversing the bogs. With great pleasure, I have awoken those wonderful memories again in my own place. The only problem I have, is going through them too quickly! I'm finishing my second bag and I've only just received them a couple weeks ago! I can't visit Scotland again anytime soon, but these will hold me until I can. Thank you!!
These turf incense are just wonderful and fill my home with the aroma of an open fire. To see the smoking chimney coming from the little cottage is an absolute delight.
If I could give a six star review I would. Everything from the moment of purchase to lighting my first incense log went flawlessly. The scent will bring you back in time and resurrect the fondest of memories. A+++ for Ian.
Thanks so much Philip!
